Chalet Grand Coeur

Chalet Grand Coeur  was newly built for summer 2010 and we have just celebrated our first year anniversary.

Our luxury chalet sleeps 10 comfortably and all rooms have their own bathrooms. All bedrooms can be twins or super king size doubles to suit your party. All except one of the bathrooms have baths with showers over.  The other bathroom has a double shower.

The chalet is on 3 floors.  There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. Carry on up the central staircase and you will emerge into our lovely dining room with  views of the Linga pistes.

The sitting room has  comfy leather sofas to sink into after a hard days skiing.  A feature of the sitting room is the lovely traditional fireplace made with local stone. On this floor there is also a very well equipped kitchen with granite worktops and a huge American style fridge freezer.

On the top floor there are 3 further bedrooms, all en-suite.  The two front  bedrooms  have balconies with views over to the Linga piste.

Chalet Grand Coeur is fantastically located opposite the Linga ski  lifts in the village of Châtel.  It is in an idyllic spot with great views. We are also ideally located for guests wishing to ski from Pre la Joux. We offer a complimentary chauffeur service to the lifts of your choice in the morning and evening.

Our hospitality includes

We  know that food is an important element of your holiday and we pride ourselves on serving scrumptious four course meals,  preceded by aperitifs and canapés in front of the log fire.  Evening meals are provided on 6 of the 7 nights to allow our staff a night off and to give you the chance to sample some of the excellent local restaurants.

To set you up for a day’s skiing we will also provide an appetising breakfast spread of warm croissants, preserves, juice and yoghurt, with a daily cooked option.  On the  staff’s day off a continental breakfast will be served.

In our experience as well as great skiing, lovely surroundings and delicious food there are a number of other things that help make for a restful and relaxing break so we have really investigated the best beds and bed linen to give you a relaxing night’s sleep.  Also not forgetting the need for large, fluffy towels and those cosy bathrobes, which are especially useful for those trips to the hot tub!

To help make that task of getting those ski boots on a little easier we also have a  heated boot rack  and storage for skis and snowboards.

Relaxation is all part of a skiing holiday and we have provided iPod speakers in every bedroom.  Also not forgetting the hot tub for those aching muscles and enjoying a glass of something whilst watching the night skiing on the Linga piste.
